Services throughout the year. Weekly classes. Aid to the elderly. Matzah for Pesach. A community built on love. A listening ear. A helping hand in times of need. Rabbi Mendel and Moussia Gansburg arrived two years ago, and built a warm, welcoming environment for Jewish life in Northeast Philly. Whether it's a Purim celebration for the whole community, help with Mezuzos and Tefillin, or any other Jewish need, Chabad stepped in.
We are serving our community — and now we're asking for your support to help us build a bright Jewish future together.
Running an operation like Chabad of Northeast Philadelphia takes a major investment of time, energy, and capital. Chabad of Northeast Philadelphia isn't funded by any headquarters or outside organization; it relies entirely on donations from the local community. The day-to-day costs add up fast.
Rather than charging membership fees or steep event prices, which could put Chabad out of reach for some, we rely on the generosity of the community we serve. That's why several wonderful, generous donors have stepped forward to help Chabad thrive this year. They will match each dollar you give; i.e. through you giving $360, Chabad will receive $720, and for $1000, Chabad will receive $2000. For thirty-six hours only, your dollar will have double the impact.
